Passing of Lurrene Parker

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Lurrene Donelick Parker, beloved band and music teacher at Hampton Township School District.

For generations of students and staff, she was more than a teacher — she was a mentor, an encourager, a friend, and a source of joy and inspiration through music. Her influence will continue to live on in the lives she helped shape and in the countless memories created in rehearsal rooms, on performance stages, and beyond.

As we mourn this loss together, the Alumni Association is organizing a scholarship fund in her honor to assist band students pursuing private lessons and music camps. If you would like to donate you can mail checks or donate via PayPal very soon. Check back here for details.
